16 Across: Pouch-hilled bird (7) - Virginia certainly has my cold, she is not well today. We're being sat by ourselves at breakfast and lunch, I guess fewer passengers onboard mean they can spread people out more.
We went to a talk on Cannes by the film extra who did a talk before - it passed the time well enough but it was just cobbled together from what's publically available, no sense of an insight from an insider. We did another of the easy trivia quizzes, hardest question was about what's on a Monopoly board between Piccadilly and Coventry Street (answer was Waterworks). I had a walk round deck this time synchronising with more people and not having to dodge deck quoits being played. Finished reading Stolen Skies by Tim Powers - good reliable stuff.
After lunch while Virginia was resting I went and had Dragon Well tea and played a bit more of Anna's Quest. While doing this I managed to leave my thin pullover there! Panic time! Even asked at Guest Services about lost property. Happily I was reunited when we went back to the Bookmark Cafe and shared a slice of white chocolate cake. We went to a chat show with the theatre company which underlined how hard working and able they are. Didn't go to the Terrace but instead went up to the View buffet as Virginia didn't feel like making conversation this evening.
