A day at sea. A day in the routine of life aboard
the Bolette. So we rise about 8am, head off for
the Bloomsbury Restaurant, leaving the green up
make up room marker on the door. After porridge
with not enough honey and an omelette we head
back to the room to find a marker on the door
saying it is being made up. So we take the lifts
again to somewhere to sit to waste some time,
noticing again that the names of the decks on
the button panel don’t match what is displayed
in the indicator or audibly pronounced.
We did the morning quiz and managed to get through to the tie-break, but didn’t get close enough to the number of spiders in a square acre (supposedly 2 and a half million). I had beef lasagne at lunchtime, Virginia did some washing, we went to an average talk on David Niven and I listened to a piano violin duo who had been on before - well played guys.
Just Susan and Steve and us at Table 79 in the evening which was pleasant enough.
