In the evening went to see the Magic Water Circuit which is a son et lumiere show in the Park of the Reservado. Not a bad show, a lot of the scenes projected onto the water sprays were about Peruvian history. They had a war with Chile and lost territory to them. There were food stalls inside the park (and masses more outside). I made one of my mistakes and tried Mazamorra, I should have gone for Picarones instead. I had a fellow guest called Ruth who was from Bolivia, interesting to talk to but I lost out a little as she nattered away in Spanish to the guide! C’est la vie. As I didn’t want to venture far I tried a burger at Villa Barranco, the dining area is rather small better for those who want a drink in the evening.
