Richard and I were together again for a treetop walk which was more Indiana Jones than I needed. We didn’t see much in the way of animal life, I was more focussed on persuading my unwilling self to traverse swinging rope bridges which belonged in an adventure film. Hot too under the sun. Some of the spans were rather long. The red of the sunset was pretty as we returned. I also took part in the less popular nocturnal walk where we failed to see any sloths (the guide seemed to say clocks) or porcupines or monkeys. We did see a scorpion and stick insects and frogs and toads and mantises and bullet ants. Not quite overwhelming.
Richard and July kindly invited me to join their table for supper! Very kind of them! That really made my evening and Richard treated me to a glass of wine which should help me sleep after a full day.
It is dim in the cabin and one feels isolated separated from humanity. And that feeling will be powered up when electricity goes off. Wifi is only available in the main area. The food here is really good and fresh and intelligent. The staff are great. There are felines prowling around here.
