Gibraltar (2nd Dec 2009)
1st Jun 2022
We
arrive
in
Gibraltar
and
I
discover
yet
another
place
which
isn't
in
Europe
as
far
as
my
eSim
package
is
concerned!
Virginia
decided
to
stay
on
the
ship
so
I
walked
alone
into
Gibraltar
in
search
of
biscuits
for
her
to
give
her
work
colleagues.
Nothing
really
at
souvenir
shops,
the
best
I
found
was
in
a
supermarket
on
the
way
back.
Gibraltar
is
more
a
living
city
than
a
tourist
trap,
with
UK
High
Street
shops,
and
Union
Jacks
displayed
for
the
Queen's
Jubilee.
Quite
hot
so
I
needed
a
shower
after
I
got
back.
Lunch
in
the
restaurant
then
I
got
a
bit
further
with
"Anna's
Quest",
we
did
the
afternoon
quiz
with
Steve
and
Susan
(I
was
glad
I
got
Rose
Tyler)
and
also
went
to
a
cookery
demonstration
of
coronation
chicken
which
had
a
good
Q&A
session.
We
supped
in
the
View
then
in
the
evening
went
to
the
Crew
Show
which
was
really
good,
better
entertainment
I
thought
than
the
other
shows
on
board!
I
should
have
taken
a
picture.
17th Sep 2014
I
did
see
some
dolphins
this
day
to
make
up
for
missing
them
and
the
waterspout
the
day
before.
Beautiful
as
they
moved.
Hardened
sea
colour
shapes
which
leapt
out
of
the
water
into
existence
then
melted
back
into
the
waves.
We
walked
into
Gibraltar
as
did
1000s
of
others
-
very
crowded
and
warm.
2nd Dec 2009
We
walked
into
Gibraltar
which
is
a
very
British
place.
