Hundreds of desperate samurai gather at a temple for the chance to win princely prizes. Our hero Shujiro Saga needs to get the money to cure his wife and son. What they have signed up for is to participate in a deadly game show. The business rich are entertained betting on the samurai competitors as they kill each other on the game stages to Tokyo. The game show organisers have their own hidden agenda in arranging the bloody slaughter.
