Last day of holiday. We returned to Salisbury city itself, much worse traffic this time (and it had got worse still by the time we left Salisbury early afternoon).

We saw the Salisbury Museum which had quite a bit on the archaeology of the area, a display of dresses, and the chance to see displays of ceramics accompanied by a quartet. There was some artwork by a guy who did early James Bond book covers but this didn't grab me.

We also did a tour at Mompesson House which had gone through a number of changes in its history. Not that much to see past some glassware and porcelain collections which weren't related to the house.

Lunch we had at the Cathedral, supper back at the Lambs Inn.
