We rounded off our holiday by visiting Saltwell Park which is a recreational space inside Gateshead. Pretty flowers including a socialist rose garden. The signs are a little confusing, pointing to the same place in different directions. They may have been done by someone who was dyslexic judging by the spelling. Google Maps got confused too not taking us to the car park but to a back entrance for staff.
