We went to The Forbidden Corner around noon, having a bite to eat before venturing round a garden of oddities. One had to take care as in many places one might be greeted by jets of water. We didn't do the mausoleum but managed most of the varied curiosities. One of those places where the best way to describe it is by showing pictures.
Agape with interest
A bearable tea party
Such things as dreams are made of
Not an upside ice cream cone
A pirate's life for me
The eyes have it
Woodman spare that axe
A fountain of frogs
A witchly alcove
They went thataway
The rains came unexpectedly as we were leaving, we tried Leyburn for some cream for Ginny but the pharmacist wasn't back til 2pm. Refueled just to get it done in Leyburn.
We had a good and cheap meal at the Brewers Fayre in Catterick Garrison this evening. They were doing two mains for just over £10 which was more than reasonable. A decent shopping area and Virginia managed to get some double base cream.
