First and nearly best act of tourism was seeing the Samurai Restaurant Time show. As wonderfully gonzoid as the Robot Restaurant was. Perhaps not for everyone but if manic dancers cavorting to high octane loud rock music is your thing then this is for you.
I recognised Baby Music amid the background music. I was uncertain how long the show was going to last at first, but in the end it felt a full dose of madness. They dished out sake in a square bowl to start with, then before the final act we had kuzumochi and matcha tea which was welcome.
The first act was straight from Robot Restaurant but the rest was novel. The interesting English made it even more fun - so we had “Scull Castle” and also a magic flute from the Netherlands (Holland has contributed a lot to the world). We got light sticks to wave to show our appreciation.
