For speed after Asakusa Kagawa I repaired to a nearby Macdonalds. Macdonalds in Japan have a slightly different menu to the West. So I had a teriyaki burger and a Sankaku Choco Pie Black (perhaps not one of my better choices that one). And then it was a mad dash to get to the Tokyo Skytree in the time slot I had booked. I only just made it thanks to my usual problems navigating round urban Japan, and picking the wrong train at one station.
A lot of crowded serpentine queuing ensued before I reached the top of the Tokyo Skytree. There were great views of night-time Tokyo from the top, and a chance to stand on a glass floor. Unreal to look down. Very popular place.
