Virginia and I decided to have an easy day and went back to
Portmeirion,
not doing much more than sitting around and doing
sudokus (Virginia), and crosswords (me). We had
baguettes as we did on Wednesday (after the town hall cafe
opened at 12 noon), then an ice cream cone as we did on
Wednesday (this time I had salted caramel instead of the
banana didn’t want to be totally repetitive). As
we sat a little bird made its presence felt above me,
I’ll have to write a letter of complaint to
Portmeirion.
Slightly more people around including a party of French children but not as bad as high season must be. I got a Prisoner towel as a souvenir, a balance between extravagant nostalgia and economy.
