Pagoda is an online database of links relating to Adventure games that I’ve created and maintain. The initial reason I did was I wanted to find where I could buy a given Adventure game, but Pagoda now has a life of its own. I’m encouraged to continue by occasionally hearing of people using Pagoda to find information about games.

I edit the data for Pagoda locally using a SQLite3 database (potentially available to suitable people). That data is then every so often converted to a web MySQL database for the PHP scripts used for a web interface.

The fun challenges for me with Pagoda come in collecting and maintaining the links for the games. To pad out this part of my website let’s explore those challenges.
