The layout key in the front matter sets the layout for rendering the page, particularly how any indexes to other articles appear.
Layouts are defined in a Layouts folder as YAML files giving a style class and parameters for the rendering.
The available layouts are:

| Events | Landscape images for events with month and years appended to title |
| ImageIndex | Index using images for links to children |
| MathML | Page displays MathML formulae |
| Menu | Rectangle index to child pages where blurb displayed on hover over |
| Music | Index for music related pages |
| Section | Rectangular index with navigation added to child pages |
| Titles | Rectangle index to child pages |
