Happily I was in time after seeing the Ice Caves to catch a Green Sightseeing Bus to Saiko Nenba which was a wonderful place. An old village recreated with a stream running through it. My first stop was a tea-house where I indulged in matcha and a variety of very tasty sweets! Wandered around the place very scenic backed by autumnal woods.

Saiko Nenba was a popular place to judge by the coaches filling the car park. I had to wait a while for a Green Bus heading back to Kawaguchi but not too long.
