We listened to the Church service over Zoom, great that technology enabled us to do so. We won't mention how in the singing the minister's voice drowned out everything else for us attending remotely, and how as he is rather tuneless it rendered the experience risible.
Walked down into Porthmadog (didn't take long) to have a roast lamb at The Australia. Quite fine, they brought plenty of mint sauce bless them which I am addicted to with lamb. I'm not sure of why Australia and purple mooses but it gave the pub restaurant a fetching atmosphere.
Wetted the tourist whistle by going to Plas Brondanw home of the guy behind Portmeirion. Beautiful house and gardens oozing art. His wife wrote in many genres including early Science Fiction. There were some pictures on the walls I really liked. The ticket machine in the car park was broken but one paid to go to the gardens through the cafe.
